ABOUT THE FUND
MISSION.
The overall mission of the Cumbria Bolt Fund shall be to help in ensuring that bolts on crags in Cumbria and surrounding areas are installed safely and sustainably, by educating, encouraging, and equipping the climbing community with the tools and knowledge they need to maintain and develop routes in the area.
All bolting activities by the Bolt Fund will only be on crags that are available for use by all climbers. The placement of all bolts on crags in Cumbria will always comply with generally accepted practices and ethics for the area, as determined by the local climbing community.
